CRACKED DISC ?

When is a cracked disc NOT a cracked disc ?

Care should be taken when cutting open the outer packaging, score marks on the brake disc caused by a sharp blade can be mistaken for a surface crack.

Scoring of the brake disc will not be detrimental to the disc's operation and will be worn away during regular use.

This issue mainly concerns the flat design brake disc, but any disc can be scored during unpacking.

The flat brake disc part numbers are:

DA1058, DA1058S, DA1059, DA1063, SAU1030, SAU1031, VO1071(K), VO1072(K), VO1077(K), VO1078(K), VO1079(K) & VO1083(K).
